Anti-Healer build Version 1
Me/E
Res signet
Ineptitude
Ether Feast
Blackout
Backfire
Ice Prison
Spirit Shackles
Blurred Vision*
*=Can be replaced with your favorite Dom, Water, or Inspire skill
Domination Staff
+5 Energy
+30 Health
Superior Vigor
Major Domination
Minor Inspiration
Minor Fast Cast
+1 Dom Mask
Domination:11+2=1
Fast Casting:1+1
Inspiration:10+1
Water:10
*NOTE the water can be turned down for fast casting, because it has a pretty good window of about 15 second-long-hex.
Ive found this is the best build when you hit those Oh-So-Annoying 2-monk builds. It works simply enough:
-Ineptitude and Spirit Shackles are anti-melee for your protection.
-Ether Feast is for healing.
-Ice Prison your main target
-Backfire your main target
-Blackout your secondary target
(Main, and Secondary targets can be anything, but typically they are monks.

seems cool but if u backfire me i do insp hex then a healing touch to recover my health. but yeah seeing as u could trick ppl to using their hex removal at the start with ice prison. At the end very experienced monks could try to deal with this and prevail. U also need a good team else if they do fire dmg ice prison ends and monks can run away.

I wouldn't exactly call this "anti-healer" build because honestly one shutdown hex is nothing. You're trying to spread yourself to thin, I think, with trying to shutdown the monk and warriors/rangers at once. It's really better if you just focused on one or the other because if not, you'll end up not reaching either side - do you want to control the monk/healer or the annoying rangers/warriors? It's a choice you have to make if you play shutdown.

If your in GvG and get backfired, it isn't even worth it to remove it only if you need the energy hard. If you don't need energy ask your protection monk for a protective spirit.

Don't really understand why this is anti-healer build, if you want real anti-heal, go with necro curses... Lingering Curse, cover it with something, and preferably add degen hexes for canceling healing breeze.
Now, if you do this - even if they have another healer or prot, it will be very hard for them to keep target's hp up.
If you just backfire the target and even if you cover it - prot spirit and/or another monk will deal with it.
Backfire+blackout can work only on 2 monks, but one might get removed, other run away while you get pin down'ed :P . You seriously need Armor of Mist or something similar, though it will not cancel pin down...

heh ya im the prot monk wich is wat i usually do. In gvg this build would not work mostly cause ppl know that hex removal is a thing that is really needed the dmg will kill u since monks stay in the back and in order to backfire u got to pass a teams of atkers. For teams though it seems ok cause u kind render half of their team, but u have to be an expert at targeting cause u are doing 3 things at once.

I'd go me/mo for scourge healing :}
It's a far better anti-monk skill than something that, say, makes their attacks miss.

rebuttal
First of all, this a Team Arenas build. (I wouldnt have said annoying two monk builds if it was 8v8...)
Second of all, This build would function with a healer and two damage dealers.
The anti-warrior spells are simply for your own protection.
I believe this build has enough cover hexs to make hex removal a null arguement.
Basically this build gives you an uninterrupted window of about 7-10 seconds in which no healing or spellcasting can occur.
And YES, like ANY build, it requires TEAMWORK to do well.

Why you don't like armor of mist? And don't need to waste elite on it.

Closing this thread, since there is a version 2 posted, and this thread has become a general flamefest.
In the future, those of you who felt that this was a poor idea, please critique the build without calling the OP or other posters names or using out-of-hand commentary. Personal attacks are not tolerated.
Thanks.
